Timeline 
INTACH Pune was set up in 1986 when a majority of members of the Save Pune Citizens' Committee (SPCC) joined it to carry through the task they had undertaken, towards improving the quality of life in the city. Some of the milestones covered -

* INTACH saves Poona Gate Police Chowkey at the University and Law College Hills from being paved over. |

INTACH succeeds in preventing a shopping complex from being moved
into the St Crispin's Church grounds and ruining it's original architecture
and atmosphere. * Pune Cantonment Board Heritage List prepared. This list was recently updated and presented to the PCB. |

* INTACH presents Heritage List to Pune Municipal Corporation. |

1991

* Project presentation for the restoration of Shaniwar Wada before the PMC. |
|
1993

* INTACH hosts the Art Conservation Workshop in Pune. |

* INTACH brings into effect the Godavari Action by cleaning up the river and it's banks. |

* PCB Heritage List updated. * INTACH contacts PCB authorities in an effort to save Shivaji Market from being torn down. * INTACH -Pune Website designed. * INTACH-Pune host meet producer Bobby Bedi & screening of his movie "Bandet Queen" fund raiser. |
